1. Entry | Tickets
Point of entry to the Plantation, visitor parking. Tickets purchased at the gate house (Dec-May or at the front of the house (June- Nov).
2. Gullies
This lush terrain is home to beautiful indigenous flora and fauna.
3. Formal Gardens
Located at the front of the house; filled with hibiscus, roses, orchids and fruit trees.
4. Herb Garden
Traditional 17th century herb garden featuring culinary and medicinal varieties.
5. Courtyard
The large Sandbox Tree is over 400 years old; better known as 'monkey-no-climb’.
6. The Great House
17th century Jacobean mansion featuring Barbadian and English antiques.
7. Rum & Sugar Bond
Museum and shop featuring St. Nicholas Abbey rum and sugar products; rum tasting for visitors.
8. Terrace Café
Serving lunch, tea and other light refreshments.
9. Historic Film
Home movie filmed by Charles Cave on a visit in 1935, showing scenes of Bridgetown and country life.
10. Tropical Birds
Moluccan Cockatoos and Macaws enjoy interacting with visitors, but please don't feed them.
11. Rum Bottling Plant
Formerly the overseers living quarters circa 1850. We bottle & package all of our rum products by hand on the Plantation.
12. Distillery- Annabelle
Our rum is produced using the traditional pot still / column method.
13. Steam Mill
Fully functioning steam mill c. late 19th century (operational January to May)
14. Old Mill Wall
The remains of the original windmill used to grind the sugar cane c. 1720. an an original windmill, likely for corn or maize c.1720.
15. Baobab Tree
Planted on the plantation in 2015 as a seedling; grown from a seed pod of an ancient Baobab Tree in Warrens.
