HERITAGE RAILWAY
The St. Nicholas Abbey Heritage Railway, completed in late 2018, is the newest family attraction at St. Nicholas Abbey Great House Plantation and Distillery.
We’re open seven days a week. (We are closed on Saturdays from April to November). Our admission and tour prices are as follows:
Tour 1 - The Train Journey
A 60 minute train enthusiasts journey through picturesque plantation including crossing Victorian steel trestle bridge and stopover at Cherry Tree Hill. Expansive highland views of West and North of the island.
Duration: 75 minutes with arrival at least 20 minutes prior to departure.

Tour 2 - The Train Journey + Great House & Distillery Tour
The 60 minute train enthusiasts journey PLUS guided or self-guided tour of the Jacobean Plantation House ground floor, the Remembrance Room, House Museum, Signature movie c.1935, Rum Tasting & Guided tour of distillery.
Duration: Minimum recommended Three Hours with arrival at least 20 minutes prior to departure

Signature Rum Experience Tour
Owner and master distiller, Larry Warren, offers a personalised Rum Experience Tour. Learn about the history of sugarcane and rum, go behind the scenes of the distillery “Annabelle”, and taste the full range of Abbey rums. Click the button below to contact us directly to book this tour.

Early arrival ensures a seat on the train and patrons can tour the house while awaiting departure and resume after the train ride. With admission, a wristband and token ticket will be issued to each person. The wrist band gives you entry to the grounds of the St Nicholas Abbey and St Nicholas Abbey Heritage Railway. The token ticket will be collected at the railway station before boarding of the train. Food and drinks will be available from the Terrace Café. All frequent visitor passes are cancelled.
There is a cafe and gift shop located at the train station, as well as a selection of SNAHR memorabilia the gift shop also stocks a selection of rum and abbey products (please note rum bottles can not be inscribed at this gift shop)
